The QlikView Evangelist
As QlikView Evangelist for Qlik, you will be responsible for engaging with the QlikView customer based to highlight and promote the diverse benefits and use cases of QlikView.  You will be an external facing individual with expert level QlikView knowledge from a business and technical perspective.  You will help to drive and execute the go-to-market strategy for Qlik, with a primary focus on evangelizing QlikView to our customer base. This will entail engaging directly on Qlik Community at a technical level, supporting QlikView events and user groups, directly supporting sales engagements and developing positioning for QlikView.

In this highly visible role in a dynamic and rapidly growing worldwide organization, you will work closely with all areas of the business, including sales, technical pre-sales, product management, corporate marketing and our partner community.  You will help articulate and deliver Qlik’s value proposition regarding QlikView.  You will directly support the sales process through presentations, collateral creation, demonstrations, videos and other assets. The successful candidate will be an evangelist, a thought leader, spokesperson, and champion for QlikView.  They will be both analytical and creative and must have direct hands on experience with QlikView. 

How you will spend your time as our next QlikView Evangelist?

  • Create core messaging and subsequent marketing collateral, such as sales presentations, whiteboard discussions, data sheets, technical whitepapers, videos and case studies

  • Engage through multiple channels including, Qlik Community, Videos, in person meeting and remote meetings to help customer maximize their investment in QlikView

  • Create core messaging and subsequent marketing collateral, such as sales presentations, whiteboard discussions, data sheets, technical whitepapers, videos and case studies

  • Help develop product positioning and messaging based on deeply understanding Qlik’s product capabilities, competitors and customer requirements

  • Work closely with sales and pre-sales organizations to optimally position Qlik products and help close and retain customers

  • Create innovative product demonstrations highlighting a range of industry and application-specific data analysis challenges

  • Deliver exceptional technical architecture presentations to present technical features and business benefits of QlikView

  • Be the go to QlikView expert within Qlik from a solution and technical standpoint

You will be successful if you have

  • A Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Advanced degree desirable

  • A Minimum of 5 years’ experience in relevant applications, relational database, web and client server technology.

  • Technical QlikView expertise, ability to create complex QlikView apps and manage QlikView server environments.

  • Excellent knowledge of systems and application design

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills

  • The ability to conceptualize and execute appropriate marketing collateral to effectively communicate key differentiators

  • Experience in technical selling/marketing to large and diverse user communities. Strong consideration will be given to candidates that have spent some time in a technical customer-facing role.

  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communications skills; technical writing experience

  • Self-starter with the ability to define success metrics and drive self and organization to meet them

  • Ability to work as a remote employee as part of a geographically dispersed team

  • Results-oriented individual with an enthusiastic, can-do attitude and demonstrated pattern of accountable decision making

  • Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work within specific timeframes

  • Willingness to travel (estimate 20-30% travel)
